Our services and packaging are designed to reduce consumption of natural resources, minimize waste generated by our operations, and encourage high rates of reuse and recycling. By optimizing our energy selection and prioritizing renewable energy sources, we will minimize greenhouse gas emissions and reduce our carbon footprint.

We have been awarded the prestigious EcoVadis Silver Medal for our commitment to sustainability. The EcoVadis medal is one of the most competitive sustainability awards, and we are proud to be among the top 5% of companies in our industry.

EcoVadis provides the leading solution for monitoring sustainability in supply chains, evaluating more than 150,000 companies on their environmental performance across 21 indicators, divided into four categories: environment, labour & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The evaluation score demonstrates how well a company has integrated the principles of Sustainability/CSR into its business and management systems.

We received the 2024 ESG Transparency Award, presented by EUPD Research during European Sustainability Week. This prestigious recognition highlights organizations that demonstrate excellence in transparency and accountability in their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts. 

Our commitment to ESG drives us to continue reducing our environmental impact through initiatives such as reusable packaging in our closed-loop service, optimizing distribution networks to reduce waste and carbon emissions, and fostering inclusion and belonging across our organization.

Plan de réduction des émissions de carbone

Afin d'atteindre la neutralité carbone d’ici 2045, nous nous sommes engagés à éliminer les émissions de gaz à effet de serre (GES) de nos opérations et de nos activités commerciales au sens large, de manière cohérente chaque année, jusqu’à atteindre une situation nette zéro pour les émissions de portée 1, de portée 2 et de portée 3. Nous nous engageons également à atteindre un objectif intermédiaire de réduction des émissions de CO2e de portée 1 et 2 de 50 % d'ici 2030 par rapport à la base de référence de 2022.

Notre ambition est de mesurer et de contrôler les émissions de portée 3 pour que d’ici 2030 ses émissions totales de CO2e passent la barre des 47 % par rapport à la base de référence de 2022. Polar Speed a déjà utilisé 97 % d’électricité renouvelable dans le cadre de la méthodologie basée sur le marché et s’est engagée à utiliser 100 % d’électricité renouvelable d’ici 2035, comme décrit dans la stratégie de réduction de la consommation d’énergie de notre rapport (voir page 19). Ces objectifs sont conformes à une trajectoire de réduction de 1,5 °C et sont fixés conformément aux lignes directrices de la Science-Based Targets Initiative (initiative SBTi).
